In 1922, Belgians Henrik and Jan Huisman founded Kunsthandel Gebroeders Huisman (Huisman Brothers Art Gallery) as an art restoration business in their native Antwerp - a city renowned for famous artists such as Rubens, Van Dyck, Brueghel, Jordaens, Frans Synders, David Teniers and Jan van Kessel. |
